We have a number of support contracts that we run alongside our development work providing quick turn around for Web Site applications. Here though are the latest projects we have completed.

Fix Protocol

The client wanted a Price Feed from Barclays to pipe in offers and bids into their application.

We used the open source from QuickFixn as a starting point and amended the messaging as per our client target requirements. We created a bespoke Fix Engine to link with the Client Application. This was written in .net for a Windows Server.

Multi Browser Upgrade

We upgraded a Classic Asp / VBScript application site (trading platform) so it could work with all browsers.

The server side code could remain as the site was to remain on the same windows hosting platform but we needed to convert the client side scripts as only Internet Explorer could use them. There was also XML code present which needed to be changed for not just the new browsers but Internet Explorer version 10. There were multiple upgrades to the code as it had been written in 1999 when Internet Explorer was king and could do what it liked. The arrival of new leaner browsers and a defined set of standards mean't that some of the html/css code was obsolete and would not work outside Internet Explorer.

The site was converted to work in Internet Explorer 10/11, chrome, safari & firefox.

New Wine Trading Site

This was a besoke project application written in .net. It is a responsive site that can be viewed with all PC & IPAD Screen resolutions and sizes.

It was developed using the Umbraco Content Management System (CMS) so the client can add their own design/text content. It also has an admin backend to input the Trading prices, manage the membership registration, create the Wine lists and review the historical data.

Parcel Freight

The client wanted a complete re-design to make the site easier to use and navigate.

The Client had a linux hosting package but because they wanted to import the design into their Graphics Package we created it in html/css so it was easy to convert and use.

Product Portfolio within Ecommerce

The client wanted a website where they could add and display their portfolio of work.

We used a Netstore backend to allow us to do this and integrated a new design on to the Front end. The code is bespoke so they can make changes which they did when they decided they wanted the Product image portfolio to display 20 images instead of the standard 6.

Clothing Ecommerce Site

The client wanted a complete re-design within an existing CMS package - Flash Wix.

The great thing about these CMS packages is it provides great flexibility for the Client. Instead of asking us to make a change they can experiment themselves to find the exact look.

Revisiting the site we see much of what we have done but the client has changed a few things as they have added new services and products which make it look even better.
